Meet the Jacobsen Family
Est. 1990
Although Lucky J Ranch was established in 1990, our enjoyment of owning and caring for horses started at a young age. From simple trail rides to competing competitively at small and large horse shows, we enjoy the horse world in California. We have experience with different horse breeds and disciplines. We made our ranch a place for different riding styles, level of riders' experience, and comfort of being outside with your horse. We chose to raise our children (now grown) around the horse world and ranching lifestyle. We had the honor of watching our children compete in rodeo competitions, rodeo queen competitions, Youth World Championships, and local 4-H events. Our family continues to be actively involved in multiple horse organizations from CSHA to local rodeos. Lucky J Ranch should be a good fit for you and your horse, as much as it should be a good fit for us to help care for your horse(s). We hope to see you and your horse(s) at our ranch or at the next local show.

Horse Boarding
Our horse ranch is located in Northern Hollister, California along the Foothills.
Full-Time Horse Boarding includes:
- Horse experienced ranch owners;
- Feed twice a day;
- Stalls cleaned daily;
- Daytime use of turn-out pastures;
- Three different style arenas (professional sand arena, round pen, and trial arena);
- The stalls are metal MD Barn that have large paddocks attached;
- Wash rack; and
- Trailer parking (additional cost).
